Man Killed By Drunk Driver

A man riding his bike back from work is dead after he was hit by a drunk driver early Sunday morning.

Broome County Sheriff's Office officials say 30-year-old Bradley Murray of Binghamton was riding his bike on Upper Court Street in the Town of Kirkwood around 3 a.m.

They say he was stuck by a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Brandon Bowen of Waverly.

Bradley was most likely on his way home from work at Frito Lay.

He died Sunday morning after surgery at Wilson Memorial Hospital.
Police say Bowen was intoxicated at the time of the accident.  He is being held at the Broome County Sheriff's Office Correctional Facility.
