Most School Districts Beat Deadline

Written reports say the majority of New York school districts have beaten this Thursday's deadline for adopting a state approved teacher evaluation plan.

Those that don't may lose their share of a 4 percent increase in state education aide.

Governor Cuomo has said he wont extend the Thursday deadline.  Evaluations are based in part on how students score on standardized tests.

The New York State Education Department has already approved 637 plans.
