Fatal Crash in Bradford County

An elderly couple was fatally injured in a car/truck collision on Route 6 in Bradford County Pennsylvania.

83 year old William Wyda, and his 79 year old wife, Janet, both of new Albany,  succumbed to their injuries.

The accident occurred on State Route 6 at the intersection of Stream Hollow Road in West Burlington Township.

Investigators say William Wyda, who was driving a Chevy Blazer, failed to stop at the intersection, and drove directly into the path of a large truck carrying cement blocks.

The truck driver was not hurt. The accident happened Wednesday, around 12:30 in the afternoon.
