CV/Forks rivalry in danger

CHENANGO FORKS -- Arguably the biggest rivalry in the area could be in jeopardy... The Chenango Civil War, which pits Forks verse Valley could be no more if the two schools merge.

Last night, representatives from both Chenango Valley and Forks met to discuss the possibility of joining the schools.

Fox 40 talked with a Forks athlete that who's in favor of the merger.

"I think it would give athletes a better chance at competition with being more of a size of an 'A-size' school," said Chenango Forks Junior Adrew Ziegenfus.

The earliest the two schools could merge is the 2014-15 school year.
