Pa's Woodshed Fire: Arson

Cadaver dogs were on the scene Monday as arson was declared the cause of that spectacular  fire on Montgomery Street last week:

Binghamton Fire Investigator Dan Eggleston says there were multiple sources of ignition in the building complex, and the fire rapidly engulfed the structures.

The cadaver dogs did not locate anything any but were digging at  spots which their handlers describe as points of interest.

"They got a wiff of something, they're smelling something, again it could be just they way the air is, currents, we talked a little bit with them it's hard to say percentages, but they showed interest. Each of them picked a couple spots out and it's worthy of us going back and taking a closer look," said Daniel Thomas the chief of the Binghamton Fire Department.

It's not know if anyone was inside when the fire broke out late last Wednesday.

The property was the site of the old Pa's Woodshed factory.

The search for human remains resumes Wednesday.
