Memories of a Binghamton Landmark

This week, a building that was once home to Pa's Woodshed and several night clubs was destroyed in a fire.  Residents say they will always have memories of the Binghamton landmark.

As we've reported, the factory building at 115 Montgomery Street burned to the ground Wednesday evening.  Patty Frey- a resident of the City's East side says she had her wedding reception there when it was the night club Bottom Line.  She says she also will never forget the chair that sat up top Pa's Woodshed.

"I couldn't believe it.  You think- all those memories ridding your bike down there when you were a kid.  Just running though Pa's Woodshed.  It will be greatly missed in our memories," says Binghamton resident Patty Frew.

She says she hopes to see the area turned into a strip mall to bring more business to the east side.
