DWI Arrest

The Broome County Sheriff's Department reports that a driver arrest for DWI was almost three times over the legal limit.

31-year-old Brian Carter of Trafford Road, Binghamton was found by a deputy on a nearby road, after Carter allegedly left the scene of a Price Chopper parking lot in the Town of Chenango.

He's accused of striking a light pole there, then driving off.
It happened around 10:30 last night.
