Fire on Pierce Hill

Downed wires were reportedly the cause of a house fire in Vestal Sunday afternoon.

Written reports say a falling tree took down wires on Pierce Hill Road  causing the fire at the home.

Reports say the basement and the garage had smoke damage and 112 people were temporarily without power due to the downed lines.
