Residents Enjoy the Snow

Some kids may have been disappointed that all this snow fell while they were on winter break--cheating them out of a snow day.
 
But that didn't stop them from having some fun outdoors on Thursday.  With a little less than a foot of snow seen around the area, dozens of kids gathered near the Maine-Endwell school to go sledding.

This being the first heavy snow of the winter in our area, families came from as far as Apalachin to enjoy it. 

"It's great to be out with the whole family and enjoying the cold snowy weather, and it's also great to see so many out here enjoying it as well," said Rebekah Heyden

"It's fun because your with your family and there's actually snow this year so we can sled," said Emma Taylor.
