NYSEG's call center is staffed 24/7 to make sure that if power is lost, there will be the resources to fix outages quickly and effectively.
"Stay away from down power lines, even lines that look like their dead. They could be deadly. You need to keen generators outside. You need to keep them away from windows so you don't have a carbon monoxide problem," said Clay Ellis, NYSEG Manager of corporate communications.
