Community Christmas Dinner in Owego

Diners looking for a Christmas meal in Owego will also have a place to go  thanks to the United Methodist Church.

However, for the second straight year the church's dinner will actually be served at the Tioga Opportunity Community Center on Sheldon Guiles Boulevard.

The church is still about a month away from being fully rebuilt from the 2011 flood. but organizers are still set to feed about 200 people Tuesday.

"This dinner is not just for anybody who's down on their luck or poor, it's for everybody. If you're alone this Christmas, you're family is out of town or your oven broke just before you made dinner, come on down. There's a lot of people here," Michelle Hogancamp.
