Mother and Son Sentenced to Prison

A mother and son from Sesquehanna County have been sentenced to time behind bars, accused of over 14 million dollars in fraud.   

47-year old Laura Conarton of Great Bend and 32-year old Scott Lonzinski of Clifford, Pennsylvania plead guilty to committing a over 14 million dollar fraud of the former Broome County Teachers Federal Credit Union.

The two created numerous fake documents including false bank statements and a fictitious persona to obtain 10 loans from the credit union. Both were sentenced to similar 5 year prison terms.
