Dick's Sporting Goods to Change Policy on Selling Guns

The Sandy Hook School shooting has forced Dick's Sporting Goods to change it's policy on selling guns. The company has announced that in the wake of the shooting it has removed all guns from sale and display in its store nearest to Newtown, Connecticut and suspended the sale of modern sporting rifles in all of its stores nationwide.

Some reports say investigators are attempting to determine if shooter Adam Lanza tried to buy a gun from a Dick's Sporting Goods store twelve miles away from Newtown in Danbury, Conn.
