Newly Renovated and Expanded Broadway Diner

ENDWELL -- A popular diner that's been around for decades recently underwent a bit of a face-lift and is back open bigger and better than ever.

The Anastos family celebrated the newly renovated and expanded Broadway Diner, which has been in the Anastos family since 1999.

But, the diner itself has been around for generations. 

"This diner has been here for 56 years.  It came in 1956.  56 years today!  Thank you very much everybody for coming and supporting my diner.  Thank you," said Broadway Diner Owner Steve Anastos.

Steve Anastos, the most senior member of the Anastos family, has over fifty years of restaurant experience.  Other family co-owners include Leon, John, and Jimmy Anastos.

About 1000 square feet have been added to the diner and a larger parking lot to accompany more customers.

The Broadway Diner has hired twelve new employees in addition to the previous staff level of twenty-four full-time and part-time employees.  There are plans to hire another fifteen employees.
