BCC Toy Drive

TOWN OF DICKINSON -- Santa made a stop at BCC Thursday to visit some folks who definitely made his nice list. Thursday was the 16th Annual Giving of the Toys event at the school

The toys are going to Toys for Tots. More than 50 departments and student clubs gave toys, many appropriate to their role on campus.

For example, the soccer team gave soccer balls while criminal justice students pitched in toy police cars.

"It's just a good feeling to know that some of them may not have had a Christmas if it hadn't been for us.  Being able to give that to them and know that they'll have something to open on Christmas morning is a good feeling," said Hailey Wiggis of the BCC Choir.
 
Hundreds of students and staff members took part in contributing toys for the event.
