UPDATE: Purse Snatching, BB Attack in Endicott

UPDATED INFORMATION:  After midnight Monday, Endicott issued a press release stating in part that  a robbery occured at approximately 9:50PM,  in the area of the 100 Block of Rogers Avenue, in which property was taken from a female victim.

Reportedly, three suspects fled on foot, all believed to be white males.

One suspect is described as approximately 5'5" tall, wearing blue jeans, a gray and black hooded sweatshirt, and a dark colored scarf around the face area.

Anyone with information is asked to call Endicott police at 757-2479.

(In the press release, there is no mention of a BB gun)

----------------------EARLIER INFORMATION-------------------------

According to scanner reports Monday night that were transmitted shortly before 10PM, a woman was shot by a bb gun in the vicinity of Watson Boulevard in Endicott--as several assailants made off with her purse.  Police said later in the evening that they were in the process of assembling a news release on the incident, and did tell Fox 40 that "the victim was being interviewed."
