Endicott Kicks Off Holiday Season

The holiday season is now upon us and a tradition that's been taking place for over 60 years was once again in full swing.   

The Endicott Holiday Parade and Celebration took place on Saturday afternoon. Local bands and organizations along with residents marched down Washington Ave getting people in to the holiday spirit. 

Organizers say thousands of people came out to take part in the festivities. There was also an opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus.

"It's exciting to see it all come together.  Once the people get excited about it too, that makes it rewarding," says Darlene Leonard, Chairman of the Parade.

The night ended with a tree lighting ceremony in Memorial Park.
