And Friday, it was time for the team and the community to celebrate its repeat victory.
The State Champs were the stars of the town as they marched down Hooper Road to the cheers and support from the community.
For many of the seniors on the team, wining a second state championship is something they will never forget.
"It's a dream come true," said Senior Running Back Luis Uceta.
"It's undescribable. It's a feeling we're never going to forget," Senior Running Back Nick Sorrenti.
"The community has supported us all along from game one to our game in the Dome. It's nice to just have them out here and talk to them a little bit and high fives. It's great," Senior Lineman Jake Haddock.
"I've said in the past and I've heard a lot that these kids are easy to root for because they're good kids. They're great football players but they're better kids. They're better off the field then they are on," said M-E Head Football Coach Matt Gallagher.
Coach Gallgher said even though they're losing a lot of seniors after graduation, he's confident in the younger guys to come away with another successful season next year.
