Report of Accidental Shooting in Springville Twp, PA

Around  9PM Thursday evening--scanner reports indicated that a woman had been shot in the leg---in Springville Township, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.

Initial reports described the shot as accidental.

A helicopter was being called in to transport the victim to a hospital.

No other information available at this time. 

State Police in  Gibson have not yet released an official statement.
