Did Would-Be Robber Target Subway Shop?

We have a news item of a  a possible event that did not happen Thursday night.

Why is that news?

It's because of all the convenience store robberies that have occured in the area in recent weeks:

Around 8:30PM, police responded to calls that a man wearing a ski mask--and driving a dark grey car with tinted windows was circling the Subway shop on Upper Court Street, in Kirkwood.

That alarmed the clerk inside, who we saw on the phone, and looking out various windows in the store.

No word yet if police apprehended any suspicious vehicle or suspect.
