Accidents on Rt 26, Riverside Drive

Two motor vehicle accidents Wednesday evening, around 5:30PM:

 
On Route 26 in Vestal, at Pierce Creek Road,  a two car accident at  the intersection sent one woman to the hospital, as a precautionary measure--very minor injuries for the other driver, also a woman.
Both were wearing their seatbelts.

And, there was also a smash-up on Riverside Drive, in front of Lourdes hospital.

Scanner reports indicated that an ambulance was involved.

We found a police car and fire truck on the scene, along with an uprooted tree.

No information Wednesday night from Lourdes as to whether an ambulance connected with the hospital was involved in an accident.
