Homecoming "sweet" for BHS alums

VESTAL -- BUs loss Tuesday was a little less bitter, because two of the area's own were big parts in leading Canisius over Binghamton in a 61-48 win.

Binghamton High School alums, Jen Morabito and Tiahana Mills combined for 12 points, five assists and four steals in their 23 minutes on the floor, making their return home to the southern tier a pretty sweet one.

"I didn't really have anything to be nervous about, because I knew how much people were here supporting me, says Mills. It was like a home game for us really."

"Our high school coach was (here) with the girls watching this college level performance, and it was great to have them there, along with our families and friends who could make it out," said Morabito.
