Two robberies Sunday night in Binghamton--Police Activity Monday Night

BINGHAMTON -- There were robberies at two local convenience stores on Sunday.

One happened Sunday night around 9:00 at the Kwik Fill Gas Station on Floral Avenue in Binghamton.

The suspect was reported to be armed with a four-inch folding knife.

The robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is a white male of medium height.

And, just hours before, at 5pm, there was also a robbery at the Walgreen's on Pennsylvania and Vestal Avenue in Binghamton.

Monday night, police were busy seeking the individual or individuals involved.

Fox40 found that police had located a suspect vehicle at Manley's Mighty Mart on Clinton Street following scanner reports that  seems to indicate that a suspect had also been picked up, although there is no official information regarding who the suspect might be, or what it might be related to, or it there was an actual arrest.

A number of convenient stores have been robbed in recent weeks, one of them, twice in the same week.
