One taken to hospital after house fire

BINGHAMTON -- Just before noon on Friday, crews responded to a house fire at 93 Moeller Street. 

Deputy Chief Brian O'Loughlin said bedding caught on fire inside the house and a resident extinguished the majority of the fire before crews arrived. 

One person was taken to the hospital with minor burns. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
