BU Makes Donation to Toys for Tots

BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY -- Toys for Tots gives lots of toys to underprivileged children during the holidays. 
 
On Friday Binghamton University's Physical Facilities Department donated $5,000 and dozens of toys to Broome County Toys for Tots.
While all gifts are welcomed, items that foster learning are very good for children to receive.

"I got 4,500 books this year.  So every kid is going to get a book this year," said Steve Ward, President of Broome County Toys for Tots.  "I think books, arts and crafts, things like that are important."
