Chamber of Commerce Gives Thanks

Hundreds of people gathered at the Binghamton Riverwalk Tuesday for the Chamber of Commerce's 17th annual Thanksgiving Luncheon.
 
The chamber presented awards to businesses and community leaders.

The Greater Binghamton Association of Realtors won the 2012 Community Advocate Award.


The Realtors have held numerous food drives, worked with toys for tots, and sent packages to service men and women overseas. 

"The Board of Realtors want to give back to the community that they love to live in. Work in and raise their families in," said President of the Greater Binghamton Association of Realtors Pat Kilts.  "We have continued to work in the committee, in the community to make it the community that we are proud of."

The chamber also presented a check of $1,500 to the director of the Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter.
