B-Sens Give Back to Sandy Victims

The Binghamton Senators heading downstate, not for a hockey game, but to deliver help to victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Fans and well wishers were on hand to send off the teammates, who loaded up a bus full of supplies this afternoon.

It's a trip the players are happy to be part of.

"It's an opportunity to do something good to make an impact, no matter how far away we are. It's going to be pretty small in the grand scheme of things, but I think for our team and behalf of the team I think it's going to be great," said Forward Hugh Jessiman.

The B-Sens players will hand deliver the supplies to shelters and emergency responders in Long Island and Staten Island.
