Soldier Killed in Afghanistan Returns Home to Corning

An army specialist from Corning killed in Afghanistan returned home for a final time Tuesday.

The body of Ryan Jayne landed at the Elmira-Corning Regional Airport Tuesday.

A procession took Jayne's body through Big Flats and Corning to a funeral home where a private service was held for family and close friends.

A public service will be held Wednesday at Corning East High School, where Jayne graduated in 2008.
