Car/Pedestrian Accident in Tioga County

Apparently, there was a serious injury Wednesday night in Tioga County.
 
According to scanner reports, police were responding to an accident involving a pedestrian hit by a car at 1461 Route 79, in the Richford area.

No information was available from police late in the evening --but scanner reports also indicated a helicopter was being called in to transport the male victim to a hospital.
