Diamond receives two Twins honors

MINNEAPOLIS -- Former Binghamton Bearcats pitcher, now Minnesota Twin, Scott Diamond received two organizational honors Tuesday.

The native of Ontario, Canada took home the Joseph W. Haynes award for best pitcher and the Bill Boni award for outstanding rookie. Diamond this season went 12-9 for Minnesota, with one complete game and a shutout in his first full season in the majors.
