Sandy Claims the Life of Eight Year Old Pennsylvania Boy

Sandy has long lost her tropical characteristics but not without leaving a big impact in the mid-Atlantic and the northeast.

Eight million are without power, there was record flooding, feet of snow, and the latest U.S. death has risen to 33.

18 of them are from New York, and one, an eight year old boy from Pennsylvania.

About 5:30pm Monday night at a home off of Bronson Hill Road in Franklin Township, a strong gust of wind caused a limb to break from a tree, striking the boy and caused fatal injuries.

According to Gibson State Police, the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
