Vestal Kids Take Part In Make A Difference Day

Over at Vestal High School members of the Peace Club invited young children to take part in Make A Difference Day.

They helped the kids write letters to firefighters to thank them for their service.  The kids also learned how to say thank you in sign language.

"The point is to promote peace and let the kids know they can make a difference even though they're small.  Even with a smile they can make someone's day happier." said Jennifer Almy, President of the Peace Club.

The event also featured a safety presentation by the Vestal Fire Department.
