COLD CASE: PA Cop Arrested for Murder of Wife--29 Years Later

A Susqeuhanna County Police Officer is under arrest and charged with murdering his wife -- almost thirty years ago.Fifty-two year old John Walker of Montrose is accused of killing his estranged spouse, Lynda Walker, in New Milford Township on November 12th, 1983.
At the time of his wife's death, Walker was a police officer in Great Bend, Pennsylvania, and is currently a part-time police officer in Silver Lake, Montrose Borough.
Lynda Walker's death was originally ruled a suicide, by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
But in 2010, the case was reopened and the body
was exhumed.
Then, a forensic pathologist examined the path of the bullet, and determined the death was a homicide.
Walker will be arraigned next month.
He's being held without bail.
