Two Car Crash in Maine Sends One to Hospital

One person was taken to Wilson Hospital Monday evening with serious, but non life threatening injuries. following a two car accident in the Town of Maine.

The accident happened at 3033 Route 26 around 5:30 Monday.

A Pontiac Grand Am and a Chevy Mini-Van were involved.

The Sheriff's Office said the driver of the Grand Am appeared to have crossed the center line, striking the other vehicle.

Charges against the driver are possible.

There were three people in the mini-van.

The entire road had to be shut down for awhile.

The Broome County Sheriff's Department hasn't released the identities of those involved--but all are said to be local.
