B-Sens drop their 1st game this season

The Bears took the lead at 4:28 in the first period with a goal by blue liner Julien Brouilette.
In the second period, Garrett Stafford scored a power play goal at 4:07 to stretch the Bears lead to two.
The Bears then jumped to a 3-0 lead at 5:03 in the third period off a goal by defenseman Cameron Schilling, assisted by former B-Sens forward Ryan Potulny.
The B-Sens fought back late in the third as captain Andre Benoit scored a power play goal, assisted by Mark Stone, at 9:02. Then with 4:52 to go, defenseman Tyler Eckford scored a shorthanded tally assisted by Mika Zibanejad to pull the B-Sens within one, but the clock ran out before the B-Sens could tie the score, sending Hershey home with the victory.
B-Sens goaltender Robin Lehner made 18 saves on 21 shots against him in his first loss of the season while Hershey goalie Dany Sabourin made 42 saves on 44 shots, earning the win.
The B-Sens will continue their weekend homestand tomorrow night as they host the Syracuse Crunch at 7:05 PM.
