Woman Traveling With Toddler Involved In DUI Crash

A North Carolina woman and a year old child escaped injury recently, following what authorities say was a DUI crash in New Milford.
 
State Police in Gibson report that  31 year old Samantha Rehrig was driving along East Lake Road when she failed to negotiate a  curve in the road.

She went off the pavement twice before the car hit an embankment.
She and the one year old boy were not injured.  She was wearing a seat belt.  The toddler was in a child safety seat.
