Siena Poll: Most New Yorkers think they are not better off

If you live in New York do you think you're better off now than you were four years ago?  If you do think you're better off, you're in the minority.
   
According to a Siena poll only 35 percent of state residents think they are doing better financially than they were at this time four years ago.

47 percent say they are not.

And 17 percent say their financial condition is about the same.
New Yorkers are evenly split over whether the current state of the economy will improve in the years ahead.
