In fact, it's open Wednesday night until 9pm. After normal business hours Thursday and Friday the office will also be open from 2pm until 9pm on Saturday.
There are currently one hundred thirteen thousand registered voters in Broome County according to officials.
To register you can go to the board of elections office on the second floor of the Broome County office building.
You'll need to provide a driver's license or social security number and proof of address.
"There's a lot of good men and women who've given their lives for us to have this privilege to vote in our leaders. You can print a form off of our website, you can ask us to mail you one. You can pick it up at the post office. State agencies carry them, the motor vehicle departments all have them," said Karen Davis the Deputy Commissioner.
