Perfect preseason preparing B-Sens for regular season

BINGHAMTON -- Last season the B-Sens lost all three of their preseason scrimmages and then proceeded to lose three of their first four games.

This year, Binghamton did a complete 180, going 3-0 after winning 6-3 over Albany Saturday night.

There's no guarantee that will lead to a successful start to the regular season, but the players say winning never hurts.

"It's always better to win and get that feeling in the dressing room," said Andre Benoit. "We realize that it is exhibition and we're going to have to work harder once the season starts, but it's for sure a step in the right direction."

"It's a big confidence booster," said Mike Hoffman.  "We're just trying to work on good habits coming into the regular season and hopefully the boys are ready."

The B-Sens kick off their 2012-2013 campaign with a home game against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Saturday night.
