B-Sens complete undefeated preseason slate

BINGHAMTON -- The Binghamton Senators completed their pre-season schedule with a 6-3 victory over the Albany Devils at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday night.  Six different players scored goals for the B-Sens as they went on to win their third straight and final pre-season game.

Forwards Corey Cowick, Derek Grant, Mike Hoffman, Andre Petersson and Mark Stone and defenseman Andre Benoit each scored goals for the B-Sens.

Hoffman added a pair of assists to draw three points in the game.  Benoit (1+1=2), Petersson (1+1=2) and Pat Cannone (0+2=2) capped their nights with two points.

Former Binghamton Senator Bobby Butler found his way onto the scoresheet, scoring to put the Devils on the board in the second period.

Robin Lehner tended goal for the B-Sens turning aside 25 of the 28 shots he faced.  Jeff Frazee and Keith Kinkaid shared goaltending duties for the Devils combining for 38 saves on 44 Binghamton shots.   

The B-Sens will open their season at home on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7:05 p.m. versus the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
