As politicians talk about helping the middle class Vestal homeowners worried about foreclosure got some help from the State's Department of Financial  Services on Thursday.
 
A mobile command center was set up outside the Vestal Library offering advice to get financially troubled homeowners back on the right track.

The specialists had advice on how to apply for mortgage modifications, and then listened to complaints from homeowners who believe they've been victimized.

Governor Cuomo has directed the the Department of Financial Services to visit areas of the state with high foreclosure rates.
