Zombies Invade Downtown Binghamton

BINGHMATON -- Rumors circulate that Mayor Matt Ryan will soon allow a  zombie invasion of Binghamton.

It is not just a rumor, Wednesday, the mayor confirmed that the zombies are coming and in fact, are already here.
 
Mayor Ryan welcomed the undead to Court Street today in front of Imagicka.  Ryan said a mob of zombies will invade this month's First Friday Art Walk.

The public is encouraged to join the zombies after the walk for the Lost Dog Cafe "Thriller" dance mob.  You will have the chance to perform Michael Jackson's "Thriller" on Henry Street in front of the Lost Dog Cafe.

"Even the living may walk amongst us and parade through Binghamton.  We don't like to think of it as an invasion as much as a visitation," said a zombie.

"This will go viral.  If you come and dance in this zombie thriller, you will be nationally famous," said Mayor Ryan. 

You can make sure you're prepared for the event by learning the dance moves on Friday from 9 to 9:30 pm in front of the Lost Dog Cafe.
