B-Sens/AHL reaping benefits from NHL lockout

BINGHAMTON -- 40 years there's been hockey in Binghamton, but there's only been one other season that has brought this much attention to AHL hockey.

That was the locked out-lost NHL season of 2004-05.

Once again the NHL Players Association finds themselves locked out by the owners, and the AHLl is reaping all of the benefits.

As the B-Sens reported to their 1st day of training camp - big Ottawa names like Jared Cowen and Mika Zibanejad are there as well. Making it an interesting start to what the players feel is going to be an interesting season.
