RAPE OF CHILD ARRAIGNMENT

A senior citizen from Susquehanna County has been charged with the rape of a pre-teen child.

In addition to rape, 69 year old John Katchmore of Hallstead is accused of Indecent Assault and Aggravated Indecent Assault.

Investigators say the crimes happened at Katchmore's residence between 2006 and 2009.

During those years, the victim was between eight and eleven years old.
