Police Seek Suspect in Superintendent Slaying

There is a break in the case of a school Superintendent who was shot and killed in Western New York.

Keith Reed was well known in Chenango County where he was a High School Principal, until he moved away to take a Superintendents job.

Last night hundreds of people remembered him during a candlelight vigil at Sherburne-Earlville High School.

The AP is reporting that police are looking for a 42-year-old Virgina man named Anthony Taglianetti.

Investigators have not identified a motive but they say the issue that lead to the slaying was personal and not connected to the school district.

A nationwide alert has been issued as authorities search for the suspect. Reed's funeral is tomorrow.
