Vestal Man Pleads Guilty to First Degree Manslaughter

A Vestal man has pled guilty to killing the 16-year-old mother of his child.

Steven Lipka has pled guilty to Manslaughter in the First Degree.

Shelby Jenkins was found unresponsive early in the morning of June 14th at Lipka's home on Westland Road in Vestal.

Days after Jenkins death, police arrested 41-year-old Keith Cleveland of Vestal and charged him with providing alcohol to both Lipka and Jenkins.

Lipka will be sentenced on December 14th to a term of 18 years in prison with five years post-release supervision.
