Achieve Awards Honors Disabled

It celebrated its 60th anniversary with a dinner dance at the Binghamton University Events Center. The organization serves about 18 hundred people in both Broome and Tioga counties.
It also has a large employment center where they train and offer job placements to individuals.
Robert Young received an award for the Program Participant of the Year.
"I like it. I like the award yeah! said Robert Young, Recipient of the Program Participant of the Year Award.
"Each year at this event we recognize individuals who are participating in our program who've excelled over the years as well as our staff and some of the companies we work with over the years and honor them at our annual event." said Mary Jo Thorn, CEO of Achieve.
There was also a raffle for some very nice prizes, and lots of fun dancing to a live band for all who attended.
