National Pipes and Plastic Protest

Last week, residents of West Endicott were invited to visit National Pipe and Plastics Plant....
 
Management hoped the visit would make residents more agreeable to the company's plans to move  into their neighborhood.
but Monday afternoon, protesters were at the Town of Union hall, expressing their opposition to the proposed move.
One had some alternate suggestions for the site.

"If it's a grocery store that wouldn't be a problem, a department store, that would not be a problem, it is NP&P itself, said protestor Violet Russell

National Pipe and Plastics is currently located in Vestal.
