Tree Limb Causes Power Outage in Endicott

Power was out to large parts of the Village of Endicott Friday evening, after a tree limb came down on  two power lines.

It happened at the corner of Adams Avenue and Monroe Street.

Police tell us that the tree limb caused two live wires to come into contact with each other, and that resulted in arcing.

Police closed the intersection for a time and set down flares while the problem was taken care of.
