"Tioga Turns the Tide" Celebrates Survival and Recovery

Owego leaders decided to mark the anniversary of the flood with a celebration of survival.

Tioga Turns the Tide began with a laying of a wreath on the river ---
and then it was party time

There was live music all evening at Gateway Park, as folks in Owego got to enjoy a fun night out.

The evening was organized as a celebration all of the hard work that went into the recovery over the last year.

Downtown got to show off that it is back in business, as restaurants set up outdoor cafes.

However, for most people, the best part of the night was seeing the friends that supported them through the disaster.
